The Branigan Cultural Center is a city-owned museum that uses photographs, sculpture, paintings, and poetry to explore local history. The structure has been added to the National Register of Historic Places. Its mission is to immerse visitors in the Southwest’s and the world’s rich legacy via artistic, cultural, and historical exhibitions and programs. It was the first library in Las Cruces, and it was built in 1935 in the Pueblo Revival style.

Parking is at 500 N Water Street on the north end of Main Street Downtown, next to the Museum of Art.
