TJ Johnson, a Google Local Guide mentioned in his review “Not the easiest to find, but worth the effort. About a 1/2 mile to the mouth of the canyon from the road. Very, very slight incline once in the canyon. Overall, plan for just under 1.5 miles of total hiking. Appropriate for children. Very fun, interesting and beautiful! Park at the green gate and walk southwesterly after climbing the gate. Follow the footsteps. Not marked at all, but located on non-private land. The fencing and gate are only there to keep cattle and critters off the highway.”
